Adam Washburn is the founder of Color Ink Book, the world's first grown-up coloring book/black and white art periodical! Color Ink Book was designed to put the best, new contemporary artists in the hands of the people in an interactive and interesting way. Adam was born in the 60's and self-identifies as a product of the 70's. Raised on Creepy and Eerie Comics, Odd Rod trading cards, Wacky Packages stickers, combined with a healthy dose of Heavy Metal and Mad Magazine, this plumber turned publisher was inspired to create Color Ink Book, a hefty little quarterly periodical that showcases black and white line art from a variety of exciting artists. In addition to his skills as a publisher, Adam has curated numerous group shows and has produced several toys, including Skinners first Lurker toy and throw pillow. Brothers Washburn LLC has also produced a plush toy, known as “Rayola”, the company mascot, exclusively designed by Travis Lampe. Their apparel line includes designs from the likes of Greg “Craola” Simkins From the custom covers to all of the pages in between, Color Ink Book has had the honor and pleasure of working with some of the hottest artists from this generation.
