Jeremy Brautman

Jeremy Brautman writes about the places where art and pop culture collide. He discovered designer toys the same year that Beautiful Losers came to San Francisco, and seeing art from familiar subcultures was a revelation. Toys became the message AND the medium. (Meanwhile, his house became overrun with toys...) After dedicating several years to writing about toy art, Jeremy was given the moniker "toy maven". Besides his daily blog about toy culture, Jeremy writes a magazine column on the topic and has curated two art shows. He lives in The Bay Area with a very understanding wife and two tuxedo cats.
